A Rare Masonic Occasion Welcome to all Brethren
A most unusual and memorable evening awaits. At the next meeting of Newstead Lodge No 47 on Tuesday 7th April 2026, the Brethren will perform a Ceremony of Initiation using a form of ritual rarely seen and seldom worked in our Province.
Opportunities to witness this distinctive working are extremely uncommon, and it may be many years before such an occasion arises again.
All Nottinghamshire Freemasons are warmly invited to attend, experience the richness of our Masonic heritage, and support the Lodge in welcoming a new Brother in truly remarkable fashion.
