Teddies for Loving Care Notts teams up with EMAS to provide TLC Bears to more distressed children

The Provincial Grand Master P.G. Marshall together with the new Chair of TLC Notts R.Garrett and the TLC Notts Secretary J. Pawlik attended the Ambulance Service Headquarters at Beechdale, Nottingham

They held a meeting with senior ambulance service staff to decide how the Ambulance Service could increase the reach of Teddies for Loving Care in Nottinghamshire by Bears being carried on ambulance vehicles so that they could be given out to children in distress at the scene of incidents where the children may not end up in hospital themselves but where a TLC Bear could still make a big difference to manage their trauma and distress as TLC Notts continue their efforts to ensure the Charity can help as many deserving cases as they can

Over the near future , Lodges will be encouraged to help the Charity in the best way they can in support of this very simple but effective method of helping distressed children

Bears will also be supplied to older people perhaps suffering from conditions like dementia as it has become clear that the Bears can also offer significant help in these circumstances too
