From practice paddle to semi-final glory! 🌊🏆

What a fantastic day for the Nottinghamshire Freemasons Dragon Boat Team at today’s Newark Dragon Boat Festival!

After using the early round to find their sea legs and get some valuable practice under their belts, our crew really found their rhythm — powering their way through to the semi-finals! 💪🚣‍♂️

At the helm throughout the day was our very own Provincial Naval Commander, W.Bro. Roger Cheetham, DPGM, who guided the crew with plenty of oar-some leadership! ⚓😂

And after a hard-fought day on the water, what better way to celebrate than by cooling off with a quick dip in the river! 🌊🥶

A huge congratulations to every member of the team for their tremendous hard work today — both in the boat and beyond it.

The team did a fantastic job not only on the water, but also in representing Nottinghamshire Freemasonry so positively, enthusiastically and visibly within our local community. That community spirit is something we can all be proud of. ❤️💙
