It was a honour to be present to see our colleague Roger Garrett BEM receive his British Empire Medal for his services to the Community through his many years of hard work as a leading figure within Nottinghamshire Freemasons work for Charity
The two files below describe the Citation as to the reasons behind his award in HM The King Charles 3rd Honours list

Roger was presented with his British Empire Medal by the Lord Lieutenant for Nottinghamshire, Veronica Pickering
Roger is pictured below with the Lord Lieutenant, members of his family and other Deputy Lieutenants in attendance
A very proud , and well deserved day for everyone involved
Roger is currently the Chair of Teddies for Loving Care (Notts), a Masonic Charity that supports more and more children (and now adults) in times of need and UK wide the 4 Millionth Bear has just been presented
Just in Nottinghamshire , we donated bears last year to the tune of £18000 and since Roger took over that total is rising quickly.
TLC is funded by Masonic donations only
Congratulations Roger
