Julian Patrick Townsend is today being installed as the new PGM for Nottinghamshire as wll as his role as the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent in and over Nottinghamshire
W Bro Townsend is shown here just before he entered the Temple to be installed as the new Provincial Grand Master

The Installation team, headed by the Assistant Grand Master, had travelled from Grand Lodge to perform this rare but very special ceremony
The Past PGM Philip Graham Marshall had during his last Annual General Meeting last month paid tribute to his successor and made it clear that the Province of Nottinghamshire would be in competent hands
Julian Townsend, for his part, also echoed the sincere thanks of the Province for the tremendous way Rt W Bro Marshall had led the Province for the last ten years
Following his Installation as the new Provincial Grand Master, a lunch was held, (Images below) which was then followed by the AGM of Provincial Grand Chapter, which Rt W Bro Townsend also leads, and during this ceremony, he also appointed and invested his Provincial Royal Arch Grand Chapter Officers
David Barber remains as Deputy Grand Superintendent, with Jonathan Baker continuing as 3rd Provincial Grand Principal and Graham Wood being invested as 2nd Provincial Grand Principal

Rt W Bro Townsend is shown here after his Installation ceremony with the Assistant Grand Master Arthur Steven Varley
