After attending a Pyjama Party Fundraiser at King’s Mill Hospital to raise donations to buy the children on Ward 25 both underwear and pyjamas, Fearne, a 10 year old local girl, was inspired to organise her own Fundraiser for TLC to help children around Nottinghamshire get TLC bears when they need them most.

So Fearne is challenging herself to complete 100 miles between 22nd November and 22nd December 2025 to raise money for TLC. She will be walking, running, biking, canoeing, paddle board, climbing, abseiling, swimming, cartwheeling, and anything else that springs to mind on the way!!

Fearne hopes the community will rally behind her by donating to her JustGiving page. Every penny raised goes to TLC, a charity supported by the Freemasons that supplies teddy bears to emergency departments, hospices, police stations, ambulances and fire engines across England and Wales. TLC bears are used by medical staff to soothe frightened children, reward bravery, and explain procedures, offering comfort during some of their most stressful moments.

Fearne said “ I just want to help children who are scared or hurt feel comforted. TLC gives teddies to children when they need something to cuddle, and I want to raise as much as possible so they can help even more families”.

Members of the Old Elizabethan Lodge No 7714 are generously supporting Fearne throughout the challenge as part of their commitment to TLC and local community initiatives.
