The ‘Stop the Bleed’ video, sponsored by Nottinghamshire Freemasons, has already been shown at Mansfield Town and Notts County matches and now gets its debut in the Premier League, when it is shown at half time at the City Ground, when Forest host Spurs.
Having discovered the charity, citizenAID, and the project #inthistogether2025, Nottinghamshire Freemasons believe we can make a positive impact in controlling life-threatening bleeding, certainly here in Notts and potentially nationwide. It is hoped that the video, showing what to do if confronted with such a traumatic event, will be shown at far more football grounds and other public gatherings.
Freemasonry and Freemasons have a long history of charitable giving and community service (both civil and military) and have had a significant beneficial impact on society.
Sponsoring the video and contributing to other elements of the project is another illustration of doing things for the benefit of those other than ourselves.
We would like Freemasonry in Nottinghamshire to be recognised as a force for good in our communities and society at large, and as a thriving organisation that people aspire to join.
