Freemasons fund new Chemotherapy Chairs for Nottingham City Hospital

Nottingham Freemasons kindly funded 3 much needed specialist chairs for the chemotherapy unit at Nottingham City Hospital at a cost of £6025.

The application was submitted after a referral from W Bro Mick Smith who had unfortunately had his chemotherapy session cancelled several times due to lack of chairs because the existing ones were damaged and torn which meant they couldn't be sanitised properly.

Alexandra Gould- Department Nursing Administrator, Haematology Day Case/Outpatients said "these chairs have already made a huge difference for so many patients and please pass on our sincere thanks to all the Freemasons in Nottinghamshire for the kind generosity."
