The Major Oak has stood as a symbol of strength, resilience and hope for centuries, inspiring generations across Nottinghamshire. Now, as this remarkable tree reaches the final chapter of its life, we have the opportunity to help secure its legacy.
The Sherwood Forest Trust’s From Tiny Acorns appeal will collect acorns from ancient oaks and native tree seeds, nurturing them into the mighty forests of tomorrow. By involving local schools, volunteers and communities, this project reflects the very values Freemasonry holds dear: charity, education, community and stewardship.
Thanks to the Aviva Community Fund, every eligible donation will be matched £1 for £1 (up to £250), doubling your impact.
