A Christmas Message from the Grand Superintendent

Dear Companions,

As we approach Christmas many of us will be looking forward to spending time with family, friends, and even our fellow Companions in the Royal Arch to reflect on the year we have had, and also to look forward to the year ahead.

It has certainly been another very busy year in which David, Steve, Kevin and I have enjoyed sharing Royal Arch Masonry with you at ceremonial visits, your installation meetings and almost all exaltations. I am particularly pleased about the progress we are making in stabilising our membership and grateful for the dedicated efforts of our membership team and each of the enthusiastic companions who are determined to see their Chapters revive (if necessary) and thrive. To that end, we can all welcome Archway, which aims to steer our Chapters to a more secure future.

Archway will help Chapters shape their future, grow their membership and enhance their members’ experience. It is based on extensive research of what our members want – and what works well in successful Chapters across our Constitution.

Please take the time to get to know Archway’s resources, it can be accessed via the link below:

At this time of goodwill please remember those Companions who have been unable to attend recent meetings of your Chapter and check whether they are well or need any assistance. It might also be an opportunity to contact those who are no longer members; you never know, it may be the catalyst for them re-joining.

Diane and I send you and your families our best wishes for a safe and happy Christmas and a healthy New Year.

Very best wishes.

Yours sincerely and fraternally,

Julian Townsend

Grand Superintendent
