Bramcote Lodge Care for the Communit

Bramcote 2019
At the recent Installation of John Paxton into the chair of Bramcote Lodge No 8750, ably carried out by the Installing Master Robert Phillips under the watchful eye of the Provincial Grand Master, RW. Brother Philip Marshall, the Brethren of the Lodge voted to donate over £2500 to various local and national charities.

These included: Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance; Haywood House; Prostate Cancer UK; Treetops Hospice Risley; National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society; Macmillan Nurses; Alzheimers Society; Multiple Sclerosis Society; Parkinson’s UK; the Boy Scouts (Notts S.W.); and Beeston Boys Brigade.

Bramcote Lodge was able to donate this amount mainly through its social committee, Robert Phillips - Charity Steward, John Moore, and James Bates, who organised several functions during the year.

With the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance office being quite local, 2 Lodge members, Treasurer Neil Page and Peter Zipser, called on them to present a cheque for £300. In the photo, Neil and Peter are seen holding their receipt together with fundraising administrator Sinead Hannon.
