A Nottinghamshire Sojourner entertains Alexander Chapter

alexander chapter

On Thursday 26th October E. Companion Chris Yates visited Alexander Chapter, which meets at Newark masonic Hall, to present a Power Point lecture explaining the Symbolism of the design of the Holy Royal Arch Jewel, and it’s relation to the 5 Regular Platonic Bodies and the Triple Tau.

The presentation was very enthusiastically received by the companions, with some very searching questions and comments, particularly related to the geometrical content. The questions were answered in a very complete and expansive manner by Chris, who was very warmly thanked by the ME, both in the temple and at the festive board.

The lecture was followed by a presentation of the Mystical Lecture presented in a most competent fashion by ECompions B. Chambers , Peter Smith and A. Crampton.

To round the evening off, E. Companion T. D. Ward (GCVO) presented a Supreme grand Chapter certificate to Companion A. L. Lapusneanu in a most informative manner.

There then followed a very entertaining festive board.

There were 24 members present plus 2 visiting compannions.
