Howard Upton 50 years in the Craft

howard uptonWorshipful Brother Howard Upton, a member of the Byron Lodge No. 4014 based in Mansfield, recently celebrated a major milestone in his Masonic Career - fifty years in the Craft.

This important event was celebrated by a visit to Howard's home by the Provincial Grand Master V.W. Brother Philip Graham Marshall. Also present were Howard’s wife, three members of the Byron Lodge, W. Brothers Garry Dulson, Derrick Clay, and Ken Purslow - and two of Howards Masonic friends, W. Brothers Alistair Cook, and Leonard Baston (who were members of the same Choir attended by Howard).

The Provincial Grand Master made a very friendly and detailed speech to those present before presenting a 50 Year Certificate to Howard, who had served as Worshipful Master of Byron Lodge during 1992; Howard thanked the PGM for the presentation of the certificate and everyone present for their support.
