Nottinghamshire Sojourner's visit to Clifton Chapter

Companion John Doyle attended Clifton chapter on Friday the 24th of June to make an interactive presentation regarding the ‘History and legacy of scribes Ezra and Nehemiah’.

John Doyle at Clifton ChapterThis paper is a compilation of a lecture written and presented by Companion John Hall with additional content from a paper entitled ‘Free Crash Course in Jewish History – Ezra and Nehemiah’ written by Berel Wein and adapted by Yaakov Astor.

The presentation was delivered by Companion John Doyle, a Nottinghamshire Sojourner assisted by Companions John Higton (acting Scribe Ezra) and Trevlyn Murtough (Scribe Nehemiah).

Both those delivering, and those receiving, the presentation thoroughly enjoyed the informative and thought-provoking nature of the paper; which was followed by a most convivial festive board.

To book a visit from one of the team of 11 Nottinghamshire Sojourners, please contact the Provincial Grand Scribe Ezra, Companion David Scully, who will be happy to pass on your request.
